Modified!隆胸手术完成后，受术者可能会感觉到累，乳房会有点肿以及对触碰十分敏感，同时由于植入人工乳房后令胸部扩大了，皮肤组织便会膨胀以适应突然的扩张，因此会有些压迫感，以上均是正常的反应。
一般使用下列方法进行术后的护理：
术后应采取半卧位，并限制上臂剧烈活动10-14天，以防假体移位，术后48小时拔除引流条，并检查伤口及乳房假体位置。如发现假体移位或两侧不对称，应用手法调整后用敷料加压包扎固定。
术后按医嘱使用抗生素，注意观察伤口，如发生严重感染，必须取出假体以后另行手术。
对于光面假体，术后4-5天即可开始行乳房按摩，向各方向挤压，早晚各一次，以防止包膜挛缩。术后7天拆线，拆线后应着紧身衣，1个月内禁止戴胸罩，特别是有硬钢圈的，以防假体变形，术后１周内应避免性生活，1个月内禁止做剧烈运动。
